Institutional Subscriptions
Institutions can choose to provide open access to the on-line Yiddish
dictionary on their internal networks by purchasing an institutional
subscription: any access to the dictionary from a specified range of
IP addresses will automatically be assigned to the institutional
account. Institutional subscriptions also simplify billing by running
for a year at a time, unlike individual purchases which simply run out
when the quota is used up.
Subscriptions are nominally for a certain number of words per month,
but that is not applied as a hard limit.
When the time comes to renew a subscription,
we look at the average usage over the past year
to determine whether the subscription level should be raised or lowered.
On request, we can do a free trial to determine an appropriate
subscription level.
The minimum purchase for institutional access is $150 per year for 500
words per month. Volume discounts apply to larger purchases. For
